The Antrim Hills Way
Walk from Glenarm Seafront Car Park heading South over Sallagh Brae, achingly beautiful, steeped in history.
Pete’s Tip – Plan to end your walk in Glenarm rather than start from here as you will have your back to the spectacular Antrim Coast if you do otherwise.
Glenariff
Queen of the Glens, with jaw dropping scenery, the spectacular Glenariff Forest Park and waterfalls is approximately 30 minutes’ drive away – we took these photos on a crisp January afternoon during a fantastic walk in Glenariff.
Pete’s Tip – if you are short of time or don’t have the inclination for a long walk, follow the signs for Laragh Lodge Restaurant. It is located beside the largest of the waterfalls and a great place to stop for a shorter walk alongside the river and waterfalls and enjoy a refreshing cuppa or food in the restaurant.
