About Water's Edge

About The House

We believe when you find something special, you should share it. We dreamed of living somewhere quiet and beautiful by the sea. When we discovered Glenarm and the stunningly beautiful Glens of Antrim we were so smitten we wanted to tell everyone all about it. We decided to create a unique home with views of the sea and open our doors to guests and share the secret of the breathtakingly beautiful Glens of Antrim.

We left our office jobs to follow our dream of living in a beautiful place we knew immediately that we wanted to make our home here in Glenarm, an oasis of calm.

Our vision was to create something special for our guests, so they could relax and breathe the clear sea air. We aspired to urge visitors to the Causeway Coastal Route and the Glens of Antrim to want to stay and lose themselves in the magic of our surrounding area.

We aim to treat all our guests to an experience of unbridled luxury and to feel at home leaving you wishing you had stayed longer.

We know a lot about Ireland and we are very happy to advise on planning your trip to Northern Ireland before you arrive and during your stay. We can help you learn about the fabulous geography, and the myths and legends, fairy hills and fairy trees that make Ireland so special.

Your Hosts, Jenny and Pete

About The House

We purchased this former police station in January 2014 and have overseen a major renovation that has transformed the accommodation into a family home and luxury self catering accommodation.

‘We live right on the shore line on the famous Causeway Coastal Route and love living in this beautiful village and watching the changing colours of the sea.

You will love the feeling of space and beautiful views from our home.

We were delighted to be featured on a national TV news channel. See the video on this page.

About our home - harnessing solar energy solutions

When carrying out our renovation we were anxious to explore alternative energy solutions. We have harnessed solar energy, a mechanical ventilation and heat recovery (MVHR) system and underfloor heating to all areas provides toasty warm tiles underfoot in winter. Our tiled floors throughout help keep things cooler in summer.
